The 52-Week Challenge: Small Wins, Big Growth for Your Restoration Business
Jan 29, 2025Weekly Challenges to Boost Profitability, Streamline Operations, and Build a More Sellable Business.
At the end of 2025, I had the idea to create a weekly challenge series because challenges have been incredibly helpful for me and many of my clients over the years. One challenge I undertook back in June was the 75 Hard challenge by Andy Frisella. It’s a 75-day challenge, and if you’re interested, I’ll include a link below. But that’s not the focus of this post. The focus is on the power of challenges.
If you’ve ever participated in a 7-day, 14-day, or 30-day challenge—whether for business, health, or something like Dry January—you know the satisfaction that comes from making positive changes. That’s why I created the 52-Week Challenge for restoration businesses. While it’s tailored to restoration and general contracting, many of the challenges can apply to other businesses too.
The process is simple. Fill out the form—just your name and email—and every Monday, you’ll receive an email with that week’s challenge. Challenges range from 7 to 30 days, and you don’t need to tackle every single one. Pick and choose the ones that resonate with you throughout the year.
Here’s what to expect: each challenge is presented as a one-page PDF designed to be printed and marked up. You can check off completed tasks and jot down notes in the provided sections. It’s straightforward and actionable.
The challenges will cover a variety of topics:
- Increasing profitability
- Delegating tasks and empowering your team so you can focus on higher-level responsibilities
- Sales strategies, including diversifying referral sources
- Building a more sellable business
If you think about it, completing challenges that grow revenue, increase profitability, and reduce chaos will naturally create a business you love—and one that’s more sellable when you’re ready to move on.
To get started, click the link below to access the form on my website. After entering your name and email, you’ll immediately receive your first challenge. Check your spam folder if it doesn’t land in your inbox. Then, every Monday, a new challenge will arrive.
If you’re wondering whether a specific topic will be covered or if you want to focus on something right now, email me at [email protected]. I’ll let you know if it’s included and, if needed, send it to you directly.
Thanks for reading—I’m excited to see what 2025 brings. If there’s anything I can do to help, don’t hesitate to reach out.
